Stephanie RESENDEZ (2018)Stephanie will be attending Texas A&M University in San Antonio this fall semester. She will major in Business Management and Sports Management. Her goal is to help innovate athletic equipment for future athletes of all economic status. "I want to create opportunities for my community both academically and athletically! I am very thankful for recieving this amazing scholarship, it has helped me purchase my laptop and other school supplies needed."

gabriella Garcia (2018)Garbriella was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She is the second oldest of three siblings and recently graduated from the Young Women's Leadership Academy in the San Antonio Independent School District. "I am excited about my enrollment into the CAP through UTSA and look forward to transitioning to the University of Texas at Austin where I will focus my studies towards achieving a B.A. in Psychology. I have a desire to complete my undergraduate studies and subsequently apply to medical school. I have always been fascinated by the role that medicine plays in society and it is my sincere goal to put forth my best effort so that I can become the first physician in my family and practice as an anesthesiologist specializing in children's care.

ISABEL CONTRERAS (2018)
Isabel (aka "Isa") M. Contreras graduated from Incarnate Word High School (IWHS) this past May 2018. A well accomplished young lady academically and athletically, Isa graduated with honors and is a member of Math Honor Society, Phi Theta at IWHS. Her love of sports and media arts has inspired her to pursue a Communications degree, with a minor in Business Management, at Denison University in Granville, OH, where she was recruited to play for Denison's accomplished Women's Basketball program this coming Fall 2018-2019. |
